Didactic Mind, Ep 92: Medical Malpractice
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
Thursday Feb 10, 2022
The podcast is back, finally! This episode is all about the modren state of the medical industry, and consists of an examination of the career of Anthony Fraudci, one of the greatest servants of evil that we have ever seen, and his complicity in some of the biggest medical scandals and cover-ups of our time. I talk about the excellent new book, The Real Anthony Fauci by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and I discuss the flawed nature of the medical system and the ways in which it leads to terrible outcomes for patients. I close with an exhortation and a warning to all of you - DO NOT TRUST YOUR DOCTORS. Always get a second, and these days, a third opinion if necessary. Ultimately, we are all responsible for our own health, and the Western medical system is clearly in severe need of a major overhaul if we are to recognise this fact and take accountability for and ownership of our own lives.

Protect Yourself From Big Tech
I make some pretty incendiary statements in this podcast, and in most of my podcasts. I can only do so because I take steps to protect myself from the Big Tech companies, and preserve my identity. You need to do the same - this is no longer optional, because if you don't, the gatekeepers WILL come for your head.
If you don't know where to start, then I've got you covered right here with this post. Here are the specific steps that you can take:
Make sure that your web traffic is safe and protected from prying eyes using a VPN – click here to get a massive 80% OFF on a 24-month subscription with Surfshark, the best-value VPN client out there today;
The best SSD drive that you can get right now, with blazing fast speeds and near-native storage capabilities, is probably the SanDisk Extreme 1TB Portable SSD with NVMe technology – I bought this myself to keep a moving backup of all of my files, it’s the size of a credit card, and it’s absolutely superb;

Domain Query: Romanticide
Tuesday Jan 11, 2022
Tuesday Jan 11, 2022
We're back with a new podcast, this time answering an interesting query from LRFotS Robert W. He asked me for my thoughts about inter-cultural communications, based on a particular book, in light of my 2021 reading list:
RE Five Love Languages By Gary Chapman:My wife and I read this as part of a group study within the first two years of our marriage. It was a useful read but seems like it was a 24-page brochure puffed up to a 120-page book. The core concept of people experiencing incoming love in different ways and express outgoing love in different ways has a broad application beyond romance. In any type of customer-facing context, it’s good to pick up on how people respond. Just listening to the problems (quality time) or taking charge immediately (acts of service) or just a replacement latte (gifts) or a statement of appreciation for bringing it up (words of affirmation) all come into play.Chapman (author) has made a real cash cow out of this whole thing though, there’s a half dozen different variations on this book that are all, years after release, still in the top sellers of relationships book. It makes me think people are looking for quick and easy fixes for handling people, and this promises quick and easy without having to do any work on one’s own self, at most just changes in how to respond to other people.
I would find your perspective on it interesting, in particular on how applicable (or not) it is in cross-cultural (eg USA/India) dynamics.
The book itself is called The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman, and it is in fact pretty good, if somewhat puffed-up and overlong, given the subject matter.
I endeavour to answer his question by first providing an overview of the 5 languages themselves:
Words of affirmation
Acts of service
Quality time
Gifts
Physical touch
(I almost surely referred to them out of order, but never mind that.)
Based on that, I then provide some cultural context for the cultures with which I am most familiar, and explain how differences in the ways in which we receive, and express, affection and respect, then create gaps in communications between different cultures.
The astute listener will note that I spend a lot of time talking about Russian culture. This is not accidental, since I know a lot more about it than the average Westerner (who knows basically nothing). If you know any Russians, run through what I say with them, and see if they agree - I'll be interested to know your thoughts.
As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments, and don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.

Didactic Mind, Ep 91: The Year of Reckoning
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!!! May Our Lord's blessings and peace be upon you in 2022, in the name of Christ Jesus! Let us look forward to the new year in hope, faith, and love, as we strive always to give glory to the Almighty. Here is the New Year's podcast, as always, and today is a special day indeed, for it also happens to mark the 9th birthday of the Didact persona. (Well, my version of the Didact, obviously - the HALO character had been around for a little bit longer than that.)
As always, I will start off the year by giving an update on traffic, and I expand on these points in the podcast itself:
Total pageviews of about 270K when adding up both the old Didact's Reach Blogger site and the current shared-hosting WordPress platform;
A total of 37,402 unique readers from all over the world;
Readers posted a total of 825 comments on 332 posts in 2021, and posts averaged about 1,750 words in length;
The geographical distribution of my readers is also something to behold - check this out:
As you can see, the site and podcast reach quite a wide range of people from around the world, which is genuinely fascinating, and quite inspirational.
Furthermore, as I state repeatedly in the podcast, I do all of this for myself, and no one else - but it is YOU, the reader and the listener, that makes it worthwhile. I have been really amazed and humbled by the feedback that I have received from many of you in the past year, and have taken great comfort and inspiration from the fact that I was able to provide guidance, strength, and hope to some of you going through really harsh times.
I am extremely grateful to all of you who read, comment on, subscribe to, and share my work. You guys have kept me going for 9 YEARS and running now. I look forward to raising a glass of good whiskey to you all, this time next year, as I celebrate the 10th anniversary of this work.
This podcast covers all of the above, and also talks about three major megatrends that I see emerging in 2022:
The collapse of Islam and the dangers present therein;
The increasingly obvious moral vacuum of atheism and the rise of explicitly Christian nations;
The destruction of trust between people and their governments, which will likely lead to catastrophe later this year;
I anticipate that I will be spending a lot of my time in 2022 discussing and expanding upon these topics, for the stress fractures in our societies are becoming more obvious by the day. Some of them will widen to the point where the fissures will swallow whole entire sectors of society, and we need to prepare ourselves for that eventuality.
So prepare yourselves, brothers, for the coming year is going to be one of reckoning and action.

Didactic Mind, Ep 90: The Priceless Gift
Saturday Dec 25, 2021
Saturday Dec 25, 2021
Merry Christmas, everyone! May the Lord's peace and blessings be upon you and your family. The Didactic Mind podcast returns for Christmas with reflections upon what the day means, and why it is so important. I talk about the reasons why this day matters, how its significance translates into our everyday lives, and where the Christmas tradition of gift-giving comes from. I also talk about how things have changed, particularly in terms of trust in institutions, since the time of Christ, and how His life and times serve as both a template and a warning for our own. I finish off by discussing the great Arian Heresy, and how St. Nicholas straight-up JAP-SLAPPED A HERETIC in the face at the Council of Nicaea, and why this matters for our present day.

Domain Query: Fear of the Long Dark
Thursday Dec 09, 2021
Thursday Dec 09, 2021
Here's the second of the day's Domain Query series, based on a very interesting long comment from LRFotS Kapios on my post about resilience:
It gets worse before things get better. Knowing that intellectually and feeling it to every last bone in your body is a big difference as I’ve realized.
There is one subject that I would like to see you tackle in a post sometime in the future, and that is overcoming the fear of death. Not the YOLO I’m taking cocaine and partying kind, but the one that you hear about warriors in the past who had a lot to lose, their lands, properties, families, etc. and yet they were still able to fight as if they were not attached t those things.
How do people do that? I have been thinking about this a lot with the recent trend of mandatory vaccinations.
Someone who had lived in a monastery for more than a decade told me this about a week ago: ‘The threat to lock me up and starve me to death if I don’t put the vaccine will not change my mind. I would rather die of starvation if it comes to that, because it’s my choice’.
My country has not introduced mandatory vaccination like Austria (probably because they are waiting to see what happens with other countries), but I believe the person who told me that. He is not perfect, but he and a few other people who live there have been threatened and harassed by the police, unjustly criticized by others in the past and yet, they haven’t changed their conviction.
I answer this question from the straightforward point of view of a Christian (an extremely bad one, mind you), and why Christians might fear dying - I certainly do - but not death itself. I unpack an answer rooted in Scripture, starting with Matthew 10, and drawing on references within the texts, and come to the conclusion that the way to avoid this problem of fear of death is to find something bigger than yourself, which you believe in and love enough to give your life to protect. That is the way out of this dilemma.

Domain Query: To Settle or To Grind
Thursday Dec 09, 2021
Thursday Dec 09, 2021
The Domain Query series is finally back with a new episode - two of them in one day, actually - with a very involved and interesting question from LRFotS Randale6, which I quote in full below:
A request for one of your next episodes, I suppose you could call it "hope for a hailmary woman or just grind on". I was walking in the park one day and noticed something, all the couples walking the paths had muscular men...and half the women were fat, another quarter overweight and only the remaining quarter was thin.Simply put, even if I achieve the body of Adonis all I'm going to get is a fat, worthless whore. This makes me wonder, is it a better idea to simply grind onto an early retirement via stock market investment (Nikolai Vladivostok's The Poor Man's guide to building wealth is my bible for this)?I know that in latin america a gringo with even just 1 million (equating to 40k at a 4% withdrawal rate per year) would be living at the minimum a middle class lifestyle if not a fully upper middle class one. I would live well...and courtesy of latin america's poor social safety net for women I would have a fairly wide selection of mujeres. If I go that route though...how do I keep myself functioning in the meantime? I have to live long enough to enjoy the benefits of early retirement after all. What do I do to keep my body from aging into a broken, dottering corpse? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
In this podcast, I go over the following points:
Red Pill 101 conditional logic that dictates which option to take - women now, versus money now (oh yeah, I finally remembered the name of the Pacino character from Scarface - TONY MONTANA);
What to do about the scarcity of attractive women in one's area, and where to go to get past the issue;
Why the "poon/payola" dichotomy is actually a false, and indeed dangerous, one from a Christian perspective;
How to avoid boredom and dissipation as a man in a foreign country;
Potential dangers and issues with moving overseas, and emphasis on fitting in and acculturating;
On a related note, the Limitless Living course will, at some point, be spruced-up, re-branded, and re-released - at a MUCH lower price than it was initially. By that point, there should be enough people interested in getting out of Western hellholes to generate some actual sales, which would be nice.

Didactic Mind, Ep 89: The Moronica Strain
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
The Didactic Mind podcast is back, finally, with a new episode dedicated entirely to the Coof. Yes, I know, it's kind of old hat at this point, but the emergence of the new so-called "Omicron Strain" has stretched the credibility and gullibility of the Sheeple to, and in many cases well beyond, the breaking point. The result has been protesting and anger on a massive scale across Europe, and that is glorious to see. In this week's podcast, I unpack the supposed "African" origins of the virus, ask whether a coronavirus is even responsible in the first place for the Coof, discuss the uselessness and danger of the vaccines, point out the utter ineptitude of the RT-PCR test regime, and finish with a serious broadside directed at the entire medical establishment. This is one of those righteous venom-spitting episodes that you won't want to miss.

Didactic Mind, Ep 88: The Church Militant
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
Saturday Nov 20, 2021
This week's podcast is undoubtedly going to be a tad... controversial, because I go over a very wide range of subjects, ranging from Catholic doctrine and how some of it doesn't make sense, to recent events, to eschatology and the End Times, and finally the corrupted nature of the Word-Faith and NAR movements. I start by talking about the Catholic doctrines of Purgatory and the immaculate conception of the Virgin Mary, wherein she is presumed to be sinless herself. I then talk about what it means to be part of the Church Militant, and why it is such a difficult burden. Moving on to the Great Enemy's strategy, I talk about what Jesus's resurrection meant in terms of significance to Satan, and reference Dr. Michael Heiser's videos unpacking Satan's temptations of Christ. After looking at the strategies involved on both sides, I provide some tips and hints on how to endure the Long War, and how to take heart and hope from the little victories that we win - such as with the NOT GUILTY verdict rendered upon The Hero Kyle Rittenhouse.

Didactic Mind, Ep 87: The Mind of War
Sunday Nov 07, 2021
Sunday Nov 07, 2021
This week's podcast is all about strategic thinking and design, and is inspired by the life, work, and thought of Col. John Boyd - "40-second Boyd", the fighter pilot without a single kill to his name, who single-handedly revolutionised the art of war and changed the way that we think about warfighting. Col. Boyd used to have a standing bet with the other pilots around him - they could start on his tail in a perfect kill position, and if he did not have the tables turned on them in 40 seconds or less, he would pay them $40 on the spot.
Col. Boyd never, ever lost that bet - not once. The closest that ANYONE ever came to cashing in on that bet was a young Marine pilot, who taxed Boyd to the very edge of his immense talents. But Boyd ultimately won - and that Marine spread Boyd's gospel throughout the Corps.
Today, Boyd's work is largely forgotten, and his immense contributions to the field of warfare are dishonoured and disregarded. But the core lessons behind his work dictate everything that we see around us in both war and business - and the lessons apply in life far beyond these things as well.
This week's podcast tries to tie all of that together, to help you understand how design and strategy are inseparable, and how to leverage this insight for your own benefit. I talk about why absurdly expensive and stupid weapons systems like the F-35 "Turducken Plane" are so utterly stupid and so badly designed, and why they consistently fail at their stated purposes. And I close by discussing how to apply this philosophy of design to your life as an individual.

Didactic Mind, Ep 86: A Call to Arms
Saturday Oct 30, 2021
Saturday Oct 30, 2021
This week's episode of Didactic Mind is all about embracing the conflict that we find ourselves embroiled in - physically, mentally, and most importantly, spiritually. I talk about the world we are living in right now, built on lies as it is, and I walk you through the best ways to fight against it. This one is not for those who need fainting couches every time they hear something that they disagree with, so put on your big-boy (or big-girl, in the extremely unlikely event that you are a woman listening to my hour-long rants) pants, because if you haven't chosen a side yet, you WILL be required to do so in very short order. And it is far better to choose the winning side of your own free will, than to be forced to play for the losing side.
Welcome to the war. Let's get started.
