Didactic Mind, Ep 24: Victory
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
The latest episode of Didactic Mind is up, and seeing as how it is Easter Sunday today, I figured that this would be a good opportunity to talk about the meaning of the day, the power of the name of Our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, and the extremely timely nature of the message that He brought to us in the current crisis.
(Note: this is episode 24, NOT 23. My bad.)

Didactic Mind, Ep 23: Mythbusting
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
In this week's episode, I discuss and dismantle some of the myths surrounding the origins of the Great Depression, the ways in which it unfolded - from the idea that Herbert Hoover was some sort of "do-nothing President", to the even sillier notion that FDR "saved" the USA, to the downright absurd one that the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act made it all far worse than it had to be - and the manner in which it ended.
I also make a bit of a digression into how open market operations work, and the extreme dangers posed by the unaccountable, unelected, uncontrolled Federal Reserve, and the ways in which the Fed affects trade, commerce, and liberty at virtually every level of the economy.

Didactic Mind, Ep 22: A New Hope for the Forgotten Man
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
In this week's podcast I address a wide range of subjects, from the ridiculous and frankly overhyped estimates of Corona-chan's mortality rate, to the dangers of taking epidemiological models too seriously, to the different ways in which societies have adapted and reacted and overcome, to the political reality behind the panic gripping us all right now. And I look ahead to what we can expect from the recovery that will take place once all of this is over - and how that recovery could potentially be derailed.

Didactic Mind, Ep 19: The Corona-chan Poast
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
I look at the spread of Corona-chan and try to bring some sober, clear-headed analysis that cuts through the Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) that has been spread throughout the world by the mainstream (((media))) through increasingly sensationalised and panicked headlines.
